Understanding the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)
The CRA introduces essential cybersecurity requirements for hardware and software products, ensuring they are secure throughout their lifecycle. The regulation mandates that manufacturers incorporate cybersecurity measures from the design phase through to development and maintenance. The CRA entered into force on 10 December 2024, with its main obligations becoming applicable from 11 December 2027.
